INVU i200

i200 runs on Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS). This system is simple to install and allows users easy access to their document management file store via their browser.

The i200 system operates server side on the IIS platform. INVU S200 must be in place in a standard installation for i200 to function.

It will allow the user to log on to the site via the standard INVU log on. Once in the system users can search across the INVU system through their web browser. Once the search is completed the returned results will be displayed in an easy to read format. By simply clicking on the result the document will be displayed in the web browser. The system also allows for documents to be checked out and edited. When being edited the document is downloaded to the local machine allowing the user to work off-line. (In order to download correctly certain browser security settings are required to allow document control). When reconnecting to INVU the document can be checked in and the new version is then added to INVU.

i200 allows flexibility for external users to see and edit (according to INVU security) information that until now could only have been accessed whilst on the network
