A new service launched by Truska in April 2004 is Automatic
Remote BackUp. 
No more Tapes, No more remembering to change the media every
day, Just let your system and the Internet do the work for
you.
SECURITY
The system is fully secure - Your data is compressed using
powerful compression software then it is encrypted using
Secure 448-Blowfish* technology. You data cannot be de-encrypted
without the encryption key, which you hold. Click

Settings and configuration options allow you to determine
the files backed up, the number of versions kept on line
and the schedule for each backup set.
You can back up you contacts or marketing database and accounts
every day and your general data ever week. You can have mobile
sales staff and home workers backing up their files to a
central location from anywhere that has internet access.
The system comes with comprehensive software and account
access details allowing you a fixed amount of server space
and access for an agreed number of computers, these can be
sales staffs laptops and your central server.
Costs depend on the volume of data to be held on the server
in compressed format. As a guide you will need to calculate
the amount of uncompressed data to be backed up and then
multiply this by a factor of 1.25 to 2 depending on the type
of data and the number of sets to be held on the server.
