www.clatteringford.com,
designed by Truska, was the runner-up for the Best Startup
Website award at the recent Business Eye 2003 Website awards.
The awards, announced and presented at a dinner
held in the magnificent settings of the Transport Museum,
were attended by Johnny Andrews of Clatteringford and David
Cunningham of Truska.
Johnny Andrews said "It was wonderful
to have our site recognised by internet professionals and
to be nominated was a real boost to our commitment to offering
luxury gift and natural fibre clothing to a world wide audience
on the web. To then be selected as runner-up in what was very
tough competition was really the icing on the cake. It is
a credit to our in-house web staff and to Truska who came
up with the original design and site."
Clatteringford offer a range of Pure
Irish Linen Shirts and blouses,
Linen for the Bedroom,
Bathroom
and Table
as well as wonderful range of pure wool Guernsey,
Shetland
and Aran
wear along with Cashmere
and Alpaca
wear.
Also available to buy on-line and from their shop nr. Comber,
Co. Down is Titanic
Table Linen, Glasswear
and other quality and natural fibre products.
David Cunningham of Truska Enterprises said
"We are delighted with the success achieved by Johnny
Andrews and www.clatteringford.com
in reaching the final of the Business Eye 2003 Awards. The
site and web shop were developed by Truska last year using
the Actinic suite of e-commerce products. The on-going management
of the site has now largely been taken back in-house allowing
Clatteringford to make changes how and when they want whilst
at the same time keeping a tight control on costs. We wish
Johnny and his team at Clatteringford.com success in their
new venture and would recommend anyone to either visit the
site at www.clatteringford.com
or visit the showrooms outside Comber and see the quality
and natural products they have gathered together."
The Business Eye Awards are organised by the
leading local, Belfast based, business magazine "Business
Eye" and are designed to promote excellence in web
design within Northern Ireland.
